CMDBuild is an open and extensible platform: beyond its native features, its capabilities can be expanded through plugins that add new functions, integrate external systems and provide custom components.
Plugins are installed, configured, updated and monitored directly from the administration interface through the Plugin Manager. Each plugin is distributed as a .jar file and can include Java code, waterWAY flows, configuration pages, data model patches, UI components and translations.
